Spring Is Here!!

Spring is finally here and today we are taking our first trip to the zoo this season. The kids are so excited. And the be honest mom is excited too. Just thinking about how much energy they will use thrills me. My sister and some friends from church will be joining us. Hopefully I will remember my camera.

The Start of a New Season

I am so excited spring is just around the corner. I know it could snow anytime in WI, but I plan to think postively. Today I took on the job of going through the girls clothes bins. No minor undertaking. Let's just say the upstairs would qualify as a disaster area right now. At the same time, I feel so blessed. People are so generous with us, giving us clothes and shoes their kids have outgrown. We have very minimal needs this summer. Of course that will put a bit of cloud over my garage sale trip, but oh well. God is so good.

HELP!!!

Well today I attempted to interest Corina in learning how to spell her name. I might be getting the cart before the horse here because she doesn't know all of her letters yet. I thought if I interested her in spelling her name it would be easy to get her started on other letters. Any advice out there from anyone?

Future Photographer?

Corina took this picture of Tim and me. She is really into taking pictures with our camera lately. Who knows what she will do in the future.

Catching Up!

Well now that I have updated with some pictures, maybe I can let you know what is going on through a bit of writing. I had a reality check the other day. I signed Corina up for kindergarten. Where has the time gone!!. My little baby is growing up too fast. She is so funny. I think she likes to go grocery shopping just so she can tell total strangers what is going on in her life. Corina will talk to anyone who will listen and sometimes to those who don't. It will be quite a change when she is at school. Elena is more serious of a person. But boy does she have a will of steel. When she gets something into her head there is no turning back. And that is where Tim and I butt heads with her alot. Elena has a soft spot though for others she sees as needing care. And her smile and those eyes. Heaven help us when she is a teenager. Matea is growing into a big tease. You think she is going to come over and see you, then she takes a sudden turn the other way. She is quite smart and understands alot of what you tell her. Each one makes our home a warm and welcoming place to be in. They all love to sing, it doesn't matter where they are: grocery store, doctor's office, in the van. Tim and I are truely blessed by them, and tested in many ways. Isn't that why God gave us children, to show us our need for Him.

Corina celebrated her 5th birthday in December. In true princess form Corina, her sisters, and Emma, her cousin dressed up for the occasion.

The snow has given the girls plenty of opportunity to help daddy shovel. I hope the excitement will continue into their teens.
